The Friends of Heathlands Park’s Annual General Meeting will be held at 6.00pm on Tuesday 24th April 2018 at the Halfway Elderly People’s Club, 7 James Walton Court, Sheffield, S20 3GY. The meeting is being held in the same building that is used as the local Polling Station.
Formal business will include accounts, yearly report and election of the Committee for the forthcoming 12 months but more importantly, we look forward to hearing your ideas and what you have to say about what you’d like to see for the future of the park.
This AGM will be particularly important because a substantial amount of money is available to spend on Heathlands Park as a result of the new Taylor Wimpey development that is currently underway. The funding is more commonly known as “Section 106 Planning Obligations”. Friends of Heathlands Park is looking for the local community to suggest ideas on how to improve Heathlands Park so we hope many people will attend the AGM and help contribute to the park’s future.
